F.A.T to P.H.A.T

MM900286723arobicsWeight loss and weight management IS A JOB! It’s a full-time 7-days a week, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year non-stop job. And I don’t know about you but I’m in need of a major, MAJOR raise and cost of living increase!! And I mean to get it!!


silh-depressFor too many years I have allowed F.A.T. to accumulate and slow me down and hinder my progress. It’s affected my self-esteem and self-worth. It’s interfered with my willingness to try new things and take on new adventures that life so often presents. It’s been more than just a physical hindrance but a mental, emotional and spiritual impediment as well. For too long I’ve been ineffective in accomplishing my dreams; too long seeing myself as unworthy and not good enough; too long stuck in a ‘dead-end’ situation. NO MORE!!


Praying Black WomanToday I declare I am remarkable and far beyond ordinary. Today I choose to be happy and content. Today I dare to ‘come alive’ and live life to the fullest. Today I no longer allow anything or anyone to hold me down. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!!!

Now is the time and now is the season to “lay aside every weight” that has been a stumbling block in my life and a millstone on my progress. It’s my time to go, my time to get away from being Frustrated, Angry & Trapped and take my place yes my destined position as a Phenomenal, Healthy, Alive & Tenacious woman of God!!!!

    It’s Monday, Nov 18th and I haven’t logged my food journal (LoseIt) in three weeks, not good. So i’m not going to start over but just get back on track. I’m on the phen. pill but because I haven’t been exercising or making better food choices I’m not loosing but I feel I have gained. So, I’m going to use this site as an extension to my food journal. I really want to be a Phenomeal, Healthy, Alive & Tenacious woman.

    Today I will exercise for a minimum of 30 minutes and not go over my calorie intake.

    Alright, here I go again. It’s been a long, long, long time since I visited my own site. I’m going to keep trying until I reach my goal. How about you? I’m going to resume logging my calorie intake and not worry about getting being perfect but practice being consistent.

      I too have lost track of my goal and what I really want out of life. Thank you for your inspiration. It has given me the motivation to try again. It’s never too late. Too late is in the grave and I’m not dad yet… so here I go again and I’m going to pat myself on the back for a great start today. My goal today is to not have heavy carbs and resume tracking my progress. So far I have been successful and know with the Lord I can keep going.

      Thank you for the desire to keep going and to keep trying. No more navigating life from my rear view mirror! There is too much ahead of me not to look forward to it!
